Barbara Kaelin made this in Thred, using the new teardrop form option. It is an appliqué design and stitches out very nicely. I stitched the appliqué color (the second color, white) first with muslin and tear away stabilizer hooped , and my starched scrap of magenta silk laid over the top of the hoop. When it finished stitching, I trimmed my appliqué fabric away, but I did not attempt to cut it away from the center of the flower. Then I stitched the entire design again. The chain stitch doubles back again and that works quite well. It looks like crewel embroidery.
