Thred, Version 3.1. posted May 8, 2006. This version eliminates the key requirement and makes Thred a freeware program. There is an automatic installer in the zip file, thr3inst.zip. After you have downloaded the zip file, unzip it and run the installer (thr3inst.exe). Download Thred lessons as zipped HTML files and browse them on your computer without being connected to the Internet. This is a 3.5 megabyte file, so it might take a few minutes to download depending on the speed of your internet connection. To use these files, just unzip them into a directory of your choosing. Then open any of the HTM files in your web browser. We recommend that you open the "Topics.htm" file and book mark it on your browser, then you'll have all the Thred lessons available from that bookmark.
