Hit the "f" key or left click "form" on the main menu bar.

Select "Regular Polygon" from the form menu.

Thred will ask you for the number of sides for the polygon, enter 24, and hit return, or right click anywhere in the main Thred stitch window.

D

When you move the mouse cursor over the stitch window, you will see a 24 sided polygon attached to it. Left click when you have the polygon where you want it and Thred will leave it there.
