Sometimes needle drop out is a problem. One thing that may help is a vibration damper. In this case it is a discarded bobbin core from a pre-wound bobbin. Soda straws also work. It's hard to explain, but this picture may help. But nothing will help if the design you are stitching is TOO dense. Some designs are simply not worth the struggle.
