This cutwork coaster is very easy to stitch out.  I used Rotate and Duplicate to create the pattern.  The picots on the edge are made with buttonhole border, spaced 4 mm apart.  When I scanned this picture, the coaster was still damp from the washing away  the water soluble stabilizer.
